Timotheus 2021 Bio
'Timotheus' is a blend of Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Blanc from blocks around Oggau, boasting approximately 50-year-old vines on limestone and slate soil.
One-third undergoes a 3-week skin contact fermentation, while the rest is directly pressed after harvest. It matures for 12 months in used 500 L and 1500 L oak casks from Stockinger.
Without Bâtonnage (stirring of the yeast during maturation), added sulfur, or filtration, it's pure and natural.
Named after Timotheus, a vibrant and humorous character, this wine reflects his personality. Expect notes of citrus, spiciness, and herbs, along with vibrant minerality and vitality in its taste.
