Socalcos 2020
Socalcos 2020
This Riesling from the Leiwener Josefsberg, featuring steep slopes in a cooler side valley, is cultivated on slate soil and vinified in steel tanks.
The terraces in the Duoro valley in Portugal are called 'Socalcos,' and those on the Josefsberg are similar to them. Additionally, Breton Ouessant sheep graze there.
It presents aromas of green and yellow apples, apricot, and white blossoms on the nose, while offering a cool, mineral palate. The wine is fresh, fruity and vibrant.
