Riesling Sekt Brut Nature 2019 Bio

Riesling Sekt Brut Nature 2019 Bio

Grapes for this sparkling wine hail from the single vineyard Goldberg, known for its terroir comprising limestone, loess, flint, and clay. The winemaking process begins with gentle pressing immediately after harvest, followed by aging for 12 months in large oak casks.
A unique feature of this wine is the second fermentation, which employs zero dosage and exclusively uses must from the following vintage. This means that the 2019 vintage starts its second fermentation with must from the 2020 vintage. Following this, the wine matures for 24 months in the bottle.
It offers refreshing acidity and a fine perlage, creating a lively and effervescent character. Its flavor profile is reminiscent of biting into a freshly harvested, ripe Riesling grape amidst the vineyard, capturing the essence of the vine in every sip.
