Nils Krack

Riesling 2021

Riesling 2021

Grapes originate from steep slopes in the single vineyard Obererberg in Hoheneck, featuring 60-year-old vines in muschelkalk soil.
After gentle foot mashing and overnight skin contact, they are pressed gently in a vertical press. The must undergoes natural fermentation in a steel tank, maturing for 12 months on full yeast. Bottled by hand without filtration and added sulfur, it further matures for another year in the bottle.
It has notes of ripe apple, pear, and white blossom on the nose, while the palate offers freshness, salinity, and an elegant, mineral finish.
