Ried Schwemmer Lutzmannsburg Blaufränkisch 2019
Ried Schwemmer Lutzmannsburg Blaufränkisch 2019
This Blaufränkisch, sourced from the single vineyard Schwemmer on the Lutzmannsburg plateau, thrives in sandy soils with a limestone base. The vines, aged between 50-90+ years, are spread across two parcels. Their grapes are small and intensely aromatic. After fermentation in open vats, the wine matures in 500 L used oak casks for 24 months.
It offers notes of violet, red berries, and cherry, with herbal undertones. On the palate, it is lively and has a long, delicate finish. This wine is juicy, vibrant, and combines depth with elegance.
