Morgon 2021 Bio
The vines are, on average, 60 years old and thrive in a mix of granite, quartz, and sand. The grapes undergo a 10-day carbonic maceration process, meaning that fermentation takes place inside the intact grape without oxidation, preserving the freshness and subtlety of the grapes while keeping the tannins smooth. Following this, there is a semi-carbonic maceration for another 10 days.
After 8-11 months of maturation in used barrique casks, it reveals its elegant and full-bodied character, characterized by notes of black cherries and a subtle hint of spices and violet on the nose. On the palate, the wine has beautifully silky tannins, complemented by a harmonious balance of acidity and a long vibrant finish.
