Blaufränkisch - Güterweg - Ried Bodigraben 2018

Blaufränkisch - Güterweg - Ried Bodigraben 2018

Blaufränkisch grapes originate from the Bodigraben single vineyard, positioned at 400 meters above sea level, featuring orthogneis soil.
The vineyard is steep and divided  into a north- and south-facing site, with the north imparting cool notes and the south contributing body and texture. It is considered the grand Cru of Neckenmarkt.
After maturing for 15 months in used 500 L casks and an additional 15 months in 1200 L casks, it remains unfiltered.
This wine offers notes of cherry, plum, along with cool and herbal elements, finishing with a mineral touch. It is delicate, fresh, and juicy.
